Photo Enhancement and Restoration

I have restored an old photo of my parents taken a week after they got married over 40 years ago. I wanted to enhance this photo and bring it back to life. I did this by restoring colour due to sun damage, removing blemishes and taking out the ugly patches in the bricks.

While old photos have a nostalgia to them, they can also become like the original that someone remembers them as.

I really like this photo and always really enjoy enhancing them!

Please get in touch if you would like me to bring an old photo back to life.

Season of Love - Valentine's Day

With Valentines Day just round the corner Love is in the air and so Love has inspired me to create new mini Valentine's cards. We all like to be in love, it's a warm welcoming feeling in these snow filled winter days and I think love adds to that magical feeling that comes with these picturesque snowy landscapes which are so beautiful. It's a time to appreciate the love we have and to let them know just how much we care. Whether it be your partner, sister, mom or friend. But I think it's a perfect time to let that beautiful stranger know just how you feel! A cute mini Valentine's card is a sweet way to do this. Below are some of my new designs which are for sale in my exhibition or by contacting me direct.

My mini Valentine's cards

My cards can also be accompanied by something handmade like my love inspired painting which makes a special gift for a loved one to be kept and displayed, always reminding them of the love you share.

My Graphic Design Portfolio

Hello I'm Sharon Galsinh, a freelance artist, photographer and graphic designer with a passion for creativity. I love capturing and expressing what I love about the world through the arts. It allows me to reach thousands of people from a busy corridor, other cities & even on a double decker bus and train, exciting!

I'm really passionate about protecting the environment & supporting Greenpeace & WWF. So I really enjoyed creating this Greenpeace newsletter with masthead.

I'm skilled in using graphic design and photography software which enables me to create modern, professional designs. I have the ability to design and create posters, newsletters, business cards, DVD covers, leaflets, brochures and much more as well as graphics and photography to fit any brief for any project to a strict deadline.

Working at Liverpool based National Youth Advocacy Service gave me the opportunity to work on a range of projects including the Young Parents Support Project. I designed the advertising campaign with posters and folding leaflets that were displayed and distributed in Liverpool and north-west England.

My poster advertising Peter Pan showing at Birmingham's Repertory Theatre during Christmas.

Flick through a selection of my designs and if you have a brand that you'd like to establish, a project that you need to further develop or advertising to help with the direction your company is heading, please contact me in any of the following ways:

Being a graphic designer too, I've designed a promotional leaflet to advertise my artwork at the exhibit which will be up for several months. My finished design is a good reflection of my artwork - it's colourful and vibrant!

My leaflet I designed to be placed by the glass cabinets during my several months long exhibit. All feedback welcome.

Arts and Photography Exhibition

I am really excited to say that I have now been given the go ahead for my next arts and photography exhibition! So I am now getting ready to start preparing artwork and am really looking forward to it! Dates still need to be finalised but all that needs doing is me getting my artwork ready and framed.
"Hope to see you all soon!"

My artwork that was part of an exhibition. It was such a nice feeling to know my art was reaching many people.

The photo above is of some of my framed artwork that was part of 4 month long exhibition. It's such a nice feeling and achievement for me to know that my art reached many thousands of people. It's so nice to see the kind of artwork other people are also creating, I can see their passion. It's inspiring and makes me more ambitious!

Art was hung in a main public corridor viewable by hundreds of people who walked through daily.

New Art for Sale - "Sunset Kiss"

I'm excited to say I have just put my first piece of artwork up for sale in my new shop:

Click to view "Sunset Kiss" in my new online Folksy shop

With Valentines Day not long gone, Love inspired me to create new artwork "Sunset Kiss." It's a print of my original watercolour painting of a couple in love against the setting sun. It was painted in my favourite colours of pinks and purples to emphasise the warm feeling of being in love. It can make a lovely handmade gift for a loved one, something that can always remind you of the love you have. It's also perfect for framing.
